PROJECTS

PTO Heerenveen (Blue Cycle)

At PTO Heerenveen (Blue Cycle), I worked from 2022 to the end of 2023 on a groundbreaking project: the establishment of Europe's first pyrolysis production facility. This innovative factory aimed to convert 20,000 tons of plastic annually into 14.7 million liters of high-quality pyrolysis oil, an important raw material for the circular economy. The project provided a sustainable and technological solution to the growing global plastic waste problem.

Technical direction

As a technical manager, I played a crucial role in project management and technical coordination. I was responsible for drawing up detailed commissioning plans (hot and cold), optimizing production processes and standardizing operational procedures. In addition, I focused on training and supervising operators to ensure the safe and efficient execution of production.

Another important aspect of my contribution was helping me achieve certifications such as ISCC+ and REACH compliance, which ensured that the factory complied with international regulations and market standards. My work directly contributed to the development of a facility that operated both sustainably and efficiently, with a focus on safety, environment and quality.

Certification guidance at PTO Heerenveen

In addition to my direct involvement as technical manager, my company AA Singh provided support to PTO Heerenveen (Blue Cycle) until the end of 2023. This support focused on operational improvements, compliance with certifications, and implementing sustainability guidelines.

Although my work has now been completed, I look back with pride on the impact that has been achieved during this period. This project shows how technical expertise, process optimization and innovation can contribute to solving global environmental problems and promoting a circular economy.
